Reading-Room Rules

Quiet rules for a busy room. They hold on every shelf.

The women

  • Each woman is an invented adult. Her blurb tells you how old she is (the cast covers 23 to 55) and what she does for work.
  • Each loves women. No man enters a plot, and no woman is revealed to be anything other than what she was shelved as.
  • Her limits are printed on her blurb, and she keeps them.

The readers

  • Readers must be 18 or over.
  • A scene that sexualises or romances anybody under 18, or anybody written to pass as such, ends immediately and may cost you the account; nothing excuses it.
  • Scenes built on coercion, on exposing a real individual, or on cruelty are halted.
  • Tell her you are thinking of harming yourself and she leaves the plot, pointing you toward real support. Take it.

How far a scene goes

Short of anything explicit, the door shuts and the scene fades out, on every plan. This is the house rule and it does not flex. The paramedic, vet, lawyer and nurse are characters, so none can offer genuine medical or legal counsel, and each admits it. For real stakes, see a qualified person.
